Are you feeling inspired lately, or has the weight of your to-do list left you overwhelmed and tangled in your thoughts? It’s so easy to lose touch with inspiration, especially when we start looking outside ourselves for it. We scroll through social media, seeing people seemingly transform overnight into actors, creators, and rockstars of their own realities—or non-realities, if we’re being honest.
Authentic inspiration feels rare these days. When we turn away from our own creative minds, we’re often left feeling envious, depleted, and uncertain about our own path. The monkey mind takes over with thoughts like, “That’s been done already,” “They did it first—I can’t copy them,” or “I waited too long, and now someone else has done it.” These are tricks, illusions, keeping us from the truth. Inspiration is not limited or fleeting—it’s something everyone has and needs. It starts with trust. Trusting that you are evolving every single day and that nothing remains constant. That alone is inspiring, don’t you think? If artists remained constant, they’d never create anything new or original. Instead, they’d merely repeat themselves, expressing the same thing over and over.
Inspiration is about listening to your own inner voice, channeling your thoughts, and being in tune with what you’re receiving. It’s about turning down the noise of the outside world and cultivating an organic, intuitive flow within yourself. Inspiration can come from anywhere—the billboard on your way to work, sunlight streaming through your window, or even the splash of paint on the sidewalk. It’s all there, waiting to be noticed.
In today’s technological world, we often miss what’s right in front of us. We overlook the simple, breathtaking beauty of life. To be inspired doesn’t mean you have to be an artist, musician, or inventor.
It simply means taking the time to learn about yourself—embracing the messy, imperfect parts that make you unique. Inspiration is about thinking of something you love and pouring that passion into action. It’s about knowing who you are, not who society says you should be. That’s where the magic lies: in unlearning, unwinding, and peeling away the layers of external expectations. It’s remembering that you are a brilliant, incredible miracle—a being capable of experiencing life in all its richness and creating adventures worth living.
